辦理北港溪水系(乾溪、梅林溪、石仔坑溪、石牛溪、大湖口溪、崙子溪、大埔溪等七條)河道大斷面測量工作，以建立河道大斷面資料，並調查現有防洪構造物及跨河構造物，提供後續河川定性、定量等河性分析研判之重要依據，作為未來河川管理及河川治理規劃措施之參考。

The Beigang River is a centrally administered river originating from the Alishan Mountain Range, with a total length of approximately 82 km and a drainage area of about 645.21 km2. The previous large-scale cross-sectional survey of the Beigang River system was conducted in 2011 (ROC Year 100), more than 13 years ago. In recent years, due to climate change and the impacts of various watershed management and engineering measures, river channel cross-sections have changed frequently. Consequently, there was a need to conduct another large-scale cross-sectional survey, which was carried out in the current year (ROC Year 114).This project involved large-scale cross-sectional surveys of seven tributaries of the Beigang River. Owing to the substantial manpower requirements and the high level of technical expertise involved, the project was commissioned to a professional technical firm. The scope of work included establishing river channel cross-sections; investigating flood control facilities and cross-channel structures; assessing flood conveyance capacity; and conducting comparative analyses of riverbed erosion and deposition to understand channel variations. The results provide essential data for subsequent qualitative and quantitative analyses of river characteristics and serve as a reference for future river management and river improvement planning.The main survey areas within the Beigang River system included the following river sections: Gan River, Meilin River, Shizikeng River, Shiniu River, Dahukou River, Lunzi River, and Dapu River. The completed deliverables are summarized as follows:1.Installation and restoration of cross-section benchmarks: 482 locations.2.Leveling survey: 190.89 km.3.Horizontal control survey: 926 points.4.Large-scale river cross-sectional surveys: 466 sections.5.Investigation of river flood control facilities and cross-channel structures: 72.88 km.6.Flood conveyance capacity assessment.7.Emergency dredging area of the Bazhang River (from Junhui Bridge to Housheng Bridge).8.Survey results report.
