北港溪位為中央管河川,發源於阿里山山脈,全長約82公里,流域面積約645.21平方公里。而前次辦理北港溪水系大斷面測量年度為民國100年,距今已逾13年,加上近年自然氣候變遷及流域內各相關治理工程措施影響,致河道斷面屢變,有再度辦理大斷面測量之需,於本(114)年度辦理。
本次辦理北港溪七條支流河道大斷面測量工作,因人力技術需求龐大且具專業性,爰將本計畫委託專業技術單位辦理。本計畫將建立河道斷面、河道防洪工程設施及跨渠構造物調查、通洪能力檢討、比較分析河道斷面沖淤情形,用以掌握河道變動情形等,提供後續河川定性、定量等河性分析研判之重要依據,作為未來河川管理及河川治理規劃措施之參考。
英文摘要
The Beigang River is a centrally administered river originating from the Alishan Mountain Range, with a total length of approximately 82 km and a drainage area of about 645.21 km². The previous large-scale cross-sectional survey of the Beigang River system was conducted in 2011 (ROC Year 100), more than 13 years ago. In recent years, due to climate change and the impacts of various watershed management and engineering measures, river channel cross-sections have changed frequently. Consequently, there was a need to conduct another large-scale cross-sectional survey, which was carried out in the current year (ROC Year 114).
This project involved large-scale cross-sectional surveys of seven tributaries of the Beigang River. Owing to the substantial manpower requirements and the high level of technical expertise involved, the project was commissioned to a professional technical firm. The scope of work included establishing river channel cross-sections; investigating flood control facilities and cross-channel structures; assessing flood conveyance capacity; and conducting comparative analyses of riverbed erosion and deposition to understand channel variations. The results provide essential data for subsequent qualitative and quantitative analyses of river characteristics and serve as a reference for future river management and river improvement planning.
