The object of this project in this year is to develop preventive strategies of sediment deposition and to propose the suggestion of preliminary planning through investigating basic information of floodgates, estimating the degree of sediment deposition, determining the forming reasons of sediment deposition, and collecting and organizing relative researches on sediment deposition of floodgate. Then, the discharge coefficient of automatic floodgates was estimated, and hydraulic model tests and field observation were used for examination and analysis. During the analysis, the different of water level and flow of upstream and downstream were also considered. These results can be used for the planning of hydraulic engineering. Beside these, different kinds of floodgates were compared in the ways of operation and maintenance, and therefore the best planning is proposed.
In accordance with the investigative results of sediment deposition of floodgate, this study proposes varied preventive strategies of sediment deposit, wind-sand deposit, vegetable overgrowth, and drift deposit. Through discussion and analysis of discharge coefficient, for automatic floodgates, in the application of practice the water level inside the floodgate can be estimated by planned discharge flow, and the water level outside can be consulted by planned flood stage and tide level. After planning dimensionless floodgate size, relative discharge coefficient of floodgate can be consulted by discharge coefficient and the relation diagram of the water level difference between inside and outside. Besides, for adjusting discharge coefficient appropriate, the affection of water level fluctuation and unit weight of the floodgate need to be considered. Therefore, the safety is enhanced. By way of collecting and comparing accomplished information on the methods of operation and maintenance from the River Management Office in Taiwan, this project proposes a better proposal.
This project conducted the analysis through the design of the check dam in floodgate and discharge coefficient of floodgate and also discussed operation and maintenance. The result can be a useful reference for the planning of floodgates in the future.

本研究(2/2)由經濟部水利署水利規劃試驗所主辦,聚焦自動型防潮閘門的設計與水理參數推估。本年度計畫深入調查防潮閘門出口淤積成因,提出導流堤、消能設施、植物防治等防砂減淤策略與設計建議。
透過水工模型試驗與現場觀測,檢討並分析防潮閘門的流量係數,針對自由流與潛沒流況提出設計建議,包括考量水位變動、閘門傾角及配重等,以提升設計安全性。此外,報告亦歸納了不同型式閘門的最佳操作運轉與維護管理模式,旨在為未來防潮閘門的規劃設計提供全面參考。
