本計畫乃第二年之延續委託研究計畫。利用中央氣象局劇烈天氣監測系統(QPESUMS)的雨量估計產品與中尺度動力數值模式的雨量預報產品，持續針對災害性降水進行監測與預報技術的研發與改進，並提供台灣地區每3小時累積雨量之定量降水預報，做為水利署河川水位預測模式的輸入資訊之一，以輔助水利署對災害性降水威脅潛勢的預估與決策。
