大斷面測量為河川警戒水位之制定、洪水淹水範圍之水理演算、輸砂、河防構造物之規劃設計及河川管理、跨河建造物及固床工之安全調查、河床沖淤分析等均需依此基本資料，經濟部水利署第三河川分署考量烏溪支流之大里溪水系及貓羅溪本流等河段近年流域內經歷數場颱洪事件，崩塌地、土石潛勢溪流之土石下移至河道內及受人為工程措施影響，河道斷面已有改變，爰此，於114年度辦理「114年度烏溪支流大里溪水系及貓羅溪本流大斷面測量計畫」，藉由本計畫所建立之河道大斷面、防洪及跨河建造物調查、歷年河道斷面沖淤分析等成果，提供後續河川定性、定量等河性分析研判之重要依據，以作為未來河川管理及河川治理規劃措施之參考。

Large-section surveys provide fundamental data for determining river warning levels, hydrological calculations of flood inundation areas, sediment transport, planning and design of river defense structures and river management, safety investigations of cross-river structures and bed stabilization works, and riverbed scouring and deposition analysis. The Third River Management Office of the Water Resources Agency, Ministry of Economic Affairs, conducted the The Large-Section Measurement Plan of Dali Creek System and Maoluo Creek Main Stream in 2025 this year. The projects findings, including large-section river surveys, flood control and cross-river structure investigations, and historical analysis of river cross-section scour and sedimentation, provide crucial data for subsequent qualitative and quantitative river characteristics analysis and assessment, serving as a reference for future river management and river governance planning measures.
