濁水溪水系大斷面測量計畫約每3~5年辦理一次，本分署曾於93、96、100年、104年、108年及111年辦理完成全面性之「濁水溪水系大斷面測量計畫」，並與以往斷面資料套繪分析主支流河道之沖淤變化情形；由於濁水溪水系近年遭受113年7月23~28日凱米颱風等侵襲，各主支流河道內之地文條件變化甚鉅，為建置河川斷面基礎資料及加強了解歷年河道沖淤變化情形，提供未來河川相關規劃、研究、治理及管理業務之應用，遂擬訂本計畫辦理濁水溪主流之大斷面測量。

In 2004, 2007, 2011, 2015, 2018~2019 , and 2022~2023 , The Fourth River Management Office of the Water Resources Agency, Ministry of Economic Affairs, has completed a comprehensive cross-section survey plan of Jhuoshuei River water system. Due to the impact of Typhoon Kemi , the geological conditions within the main and tributary channels have changed significantly. This year, we conducted the 2025 Jhuoshuei River Mainstream Cross-Section Measurement Project to establish basic data on river cross-sections and enhance our understanding of the changes in riverbed scouring and sedimentation over the years, providing applications for future river-related planning, research, management, and governance.
