為表彰對水利業務有特殊、重大或傑出貢獻之人員，本署每年度均依據「全國水利傑出貢獻獎項甄選作業要點」選拔各項水利傑出貢獻人員，並於水利節期間，辦理表揚大會以激勵水利從業人員之工作士氣。另為增進對水利節慶之重視，於慶祝活動時間規劃辦理相關活動（包括水利相關單位球類友誼賽及趣味競賽等活動），以系列活動方式呈現，活絡氣氛，並彰顯水利績優人員功績。 本署於107年度辦理之委辦計畫分為水資源綜合業務、水權與地層下陷防治、水資源保育、水利政策與法規、水利產業與經濟、水源開發及利用、河川海岸與區域排水、資訊與水文觀測、水利工程與災害防治等九大類，各項委辦計畫成果豐碩，舉辦成果發表會，可與各相關之產、官、學界進行成果分享，並對外宣傳及展現本署107年度委辦計畫豐碩之成果。 辦理全國治水檢討會議會前會及大會，完成全國治水檢討會議大會議事實錄，作為後續水利政策重要參考。

This project managed on holding three major events which included the National Water Resources Management Meeting that in responded to the disaster caused by the flood on August 23rd 2018, celebration activities to honor the exceptional and outstanding employees of the year and the “2018 Commissioned Projects Accomplishment Presentation of Water Resources Agency”. The Plan included the successfully launched of “National Water Resources Conference-Preparatory Meeting” and “National Water Resources Conference-Formal Meeting”, which were held on 29th March and 30th April, 2019 respectively. There were 1217 people who care about this issue had attended the meetings, and reached a consensus on 12 points in 4 topics which are National Spatial Plan- Organize Spatial Space, Disaster Management, Flood Resilience and highly efficient mechanism for climate change during the meeting. The “Series of activities of Water Resource Festival and Award Ceremony” were held in headquarters of Taichung on May 30 and May 31, 2019. The celebration focused on building “a drought and flooding resident city” and to show that water resources members have the courage to take the responsibilities and actions when it comes to facing drought and flood and seek the symbiosis between water and human being . The “2018 Commissioned Projects Accomplishment Presentation of Water Resources Agency” was hold with “2019 Taiwan Water week” , and changed the name to “Taiwan Water Projects Conference”. 36 papers have been selected for oral presentation, and be demonstrated at the same time. This year Water Projects Conference was hold together with the important Taiwan Water Week, so we invited the project hosts to attend the conference which hit the highest project host attendance rate. Through this project, units within the WRA and citizens discussed about the water issues and exchanged their ideas. By holding the Accomplishment Presentation, the efforts of people who worked in Water Resource field would be recognized, and units within the Agency might re-confirm the contents of the results to enhance the accuracy and quality of water conservancy knowledge. Moreover, the great achievements of water conservation could be delivered to the public.
