環境教育法於99年6月5日制定完成，自100年6月5日起實施，依據環境教育法第19條規定，本署應於機關內部推展環境教育。100年推動本署環境教育之初，以實體講授「環境教育課程」之方式，強化機關整體人力對水環境教育之認識與重視；而自101年起本署則持續推動水資源環境教育與環教設施整合計畫，依據人力之專長規劃符合其需求之課程類型，同時依據環境教育法第19條納入演講、討論、網路學習、體驗、實驗（習）、戶外學習、參訪、影片觀賞、實作及其他活動等多元課程之規劃，俾利落實環境理念於施政工作中。 為使水資源環境教育能永續發展，除了落實環境教育課程外，更需將水資源環境教育課程推廣至學校以藉由教育手法協助推動，故今(107)年度除持續辦理本署水資源環境教育課程之研習活動，評估本署及所屬機關之相關人力與資源等，進行環境教育人員、機構及設施場所認證等相關諮詢及協助外，將盤點本署及所屬機關之水資源、水利、防洪及防災等相關議題資料，編製完成水資源、水利、防洪及防災等相關議題之環境教育教案，後續以供大學通識課程推廣及運用。

Water Resources Agency, MOEA is to execute the environmental education program according to the 19th rule of The Environmental Education Act, conducting the "2018 Environmental Education Program". The details of the program include proposing the 2018 Environmental Education Course Plan, executing the 2018 Environmental Education Program, proposing the 2018 Environmental Education Program, finishing editing the environmental education teaching plan and providing administrative support that is related to environmental education. Sustainable water environmental education is the core to the program’s framework of execution and progress, from planning work division, drafting and executing the environmental education work plan, to the final implementation. The program completed 4 major achievements in the duration of January – December 2018. The achievements of the program are: Reviewing the results of 2017's program; investigating expectations to the themes and topics of the 2018 Environmental Education Program from Water Resource Agency-affiliated members; investigating environmental education resources of the Water Resource Agency as well as its affiliations; modifying the 2018 execution plan. Finishing planning the 2-18 environmental education program; organizing 10 water-resource environmental education series lessons during May – July, including outdoor learnings at 4 environmental education facilities (Gaomei Wetland, Sun Moon Lake, Wanda Power Plant Environmental Education Facilities, Natural Science Museum), 3 field visits(visiting Datun River Basin, Keelung River's Yuanshanzih Sluiceway(2 rounds)), 2 indoor lessons (north office, central office) and 1 Water‧Ecology Tea House. Satisfaction questionnaire were taken after each lesson and made into newsletter. Helping them to complete result registration within the duration of the program. Assisting the Water Resource Agency with the research and proposal of the theme of 2019 environmental education lessons and is planning on registering it within the duration of the plan. Finishing compiling environmental education teaching plans (5 sets), and providing environmental education related administrative supports. This program has collected and analyzed the performances and results that are related to integration of environmental education, including environmental education materials, environmental education' human and related resources, and the environmental education platform that has been developed and established by a Water Resource Agency's affiliation. It continuously collects related data such as water resources, water usage, flood control and disaster prevention from Water Resource Agency's affiliations to construct environmental education lectures and briefings, while providing consultation and assistance in the meantime
