鑑於本署及各所屬機關資訊機房於日常甚至防汛期間所擔任之資通訊責任益發重要，為確保本署重要河川環境營造計畫與水資源作業基金相關資訊系統主機及網路設備所在機房正常維運及資訊網路服務效能，希冀以更完善之資訊機房環境監控與緊急通報及應變等安全維運機制，以強化本署各資訊機房資通訊安全與兼具符合節能省碳原則之綠色機房。另據電業法第43條規定：「用戶已裝置之用電設備，每三年至少檢驗一次」，遂依此精神進行全署資訊機房內電力系統及用電設備每三年定期檢驗，期以達到資訊機房安全、平穩之營運目標，爰成立本計畫。

Since the Water Resources Agency of Ministry of Economic Affairs and its respective agencies in Taiwan are responsible for important water information communications. This project uses Chunghwa Telecom iEN control system is an open software architecture platform with open industry standards and protocols (e.g., Modbus RTU / TCP, FATEK UDP / TCP). It can be integrated and interfaced within each building equipment and subsystems easily. This year, the iEN control system of computer rooms in the 2nd River Management Office (Zhubei), Southern Region Water Resources Office and its reservoir agencies (Agongdian, Jiaxian, Gaoping, and Mudan) were established. Some new components were integrated into environmental control system in Agency Head Office Taichung Office and the 3nd River Management Office. We optimized some function makes the environmental control system more perfect and arranged the maintenance of environmental control equipments to ensure the effectiveness of the alarm in this project. Besides, for the safety of the computer rooms, measuring the anomalous heating of the equipment and the status of the power system were arranged. It is expected that the manpower, time and cost will be reduced to achieve twice the result with half the effort.
