The study includes field investigations of the existing conditions of the embankment toe protection works, a series of basic hydraulic model testing, and to propose improvement alternatives for toe protection. It is hoped that the results of the study will provide useful information for future planning and design by the authorities.Important results of the conclusions and suggestions are described as follows.
