台中海岸介於大安溪以北船頭埔及烏溪之間,海岸線總長約41.6公里。北段海岸為大安溪、大甲溪河口之掌狀沖積平原,潮差大、海埔地發達,愈往南海埔地愈寬而砂灘粒徑愈細,淤泥含量愈高。南段海岸台中港區海岸段佔15公里,多屬早年興建之海堤,其特點為每段海堤均不長。擬藉由辦理海岸段之基本資料蒐集分析、水深地形測量、海岸漂砂底質與飛砂調查分析工作,建立本段海岸基本資料。
英文摘要
This research is a two-year project, and the investigated ambit of this project is chuan-tou-pu seawall to Wu stream, with the length of 30 km, at Taichung County. The work of this project in the first year was to investigate the coastal erosion at the ambit of this project by collecting the past site-investigations and performing the works of bathymetric surveys. In the second year, the site investigations, including wave, current, and sediment, would be performed. The future strategy of coastal protection at this coast would also be studied by using the numeral model. Then, the best strategy of coastal protection was submitted to the Third River Management Office, WRA, for the future coastal protection at Taichung County.
In the integration of the past site-investigations, including tide, wave, current, coastal sediment, stream hydrology, and coastal protection works at this coast, were collected and analyzed. About the seasonal bathymetric surveys at this coast had been performed in June and October 2014.
In the meantime, the previous data of bathymetric surveys were collected. With these data, the seasonal and long-term periodical evolutions of coastal erosion and accretion were analyzed. In addition, the early coastline data were collected to study the long-term periodical changing of coastline. Then, the characteristics of the coastal erosion and deposition were analyzed for the schemes of coastal protection in the second year.
