台灣地區溫泉資源豐富，為保育及永續利用溫泉，爰於92年7月2日制定公布溫泉法，並自94年7月1日施行。為健全溫泉資源管理機制，落實溫泉資源總量管制為溫泉管理之主要工作，為落實前開目標，各縣市已陸續提報並核定「溫泉區管理計畫」作為依據，惟國內座落於溫泉區外之溫泉業者亦不在少數，如何建立有效的管理及水量管控機制，作為未來非溫泉區發展政策及保育規劃之參考，俾使臺灣溫泉資源永續利用與發展為本計畫之主要目的。

This project to collect hot springs deep well distribution status in Taiwan. Evaluation the development and management mechanism for hot spring deep well, the hot spring obtain and supply facilities, public pipeline assessment and planning principles and hot spring safe yield evaluation mechanism and conservation management. This project proposes to develop three deep hot spring management mechanism, were (1) no other hot spring deep well, respectively estimate calculated fixed radius method (CFR) and analytical model method (AM), the range is greater scope for the development of the case. (2) the hot spring zone of both existing deep well, the CFR and AM respectively estimate the scope, if not overlap, then in accordance with the current management situation it has been issued; if overlapping scope for the CFR, AM is the scope of non-overlapping, is still the case in accordance with the current administration has been issued, but the need to strengthen monitoring of water level data; if it is AM influence ranges overlap, when the need to review the extension of water rights pumping amount, pipe diameter, pump horsepower and pump depth, while strengthening the monitoring well water level data. (3) hot spring zone of both existing deep well to estimate the scope of the greater scope of the follow-up to apply the principle of not affecting each other.
