本計畫擬蒐集並整合各縣市政府與本署監測資料，統合建置於本署全國溫泉資源基本資料庫系統，另透過各區溫泉可使用量及相關監測資料，提供研擬開發及管制措施之參考，以確保溫泉資源得以永續利用。

The safe yield for hot spring water resources depends on the local hydrogeology and rainfall. Monitoring wells could provide basic data of water pressure and temperature for management of hot spring area. The aims of this project are to maintain monitoring wells and collect water pressure and temperature data in 8 hot spring areas. This project has 6 items: (1) Collect and analyze monitoring data of a total 36 wells. (2) Compile and publish the quarterly monitoring reports of hot spring resource. (3) Compile and publish the 2014 annual hot spring resource monitoring report. (4) Maintain the monitoring wells and probes. (5) Suggest a proposal for hot spring monitoring well net in Taiwan. (6) Maintain the website and database of monitoring wells. Compare the data of water pressure and temperature 2015to 2014: (1) There are 2 wells (50% of a total 4 monitoring wells) with decreasing water pressure and 1 wells (25%) with decreasing temperature in the Beitou hot spring. (2) The probes were lost during the typhoon Soudelor at Wulai. (3) 11 wells (85% of a total 13 monitoring wells) with increasing water pressure and 9 wells (69%) with increasing temperature in the Jiashi hot spring. (4) 2 wells (40% of a total 5 monitoring wells) with decreasing water pressure and 3 wells (60%) with decreasing temperature in the Shichunshi hot spring. (5) 3 wells (75% of a total 4 monitoring wells) are decreasing water pressure and 1 wells (25%) with decreasing temperature in the RuiSui hot spring.

本計畫旨在建立常態性溫泉監測網，以確保溫泉資源永續利用。計畫已完成六項工作，包括蒐集彙整八縣市共36處溫泉監測資料、完成年報與季報、維護既有監測井、規劃後續擴充及維護資料庫系統。 監測結果顯示，部分地區水位出現黃色或紅色警戒。104年與103年相比，北投、礁溪、四重溪、瑞穗等地區的水位及水溫有不同程度的變化，其中礁溪地區水位及水溫普遍上升，而瑞穗地區水位則普遍下降。烏來地區因颱風暫停監測。
