本署辦理水源保育與回饋費業務時，常遇地方承辦人及民眾陳情保護區邊界不甚清楚，且歷經幾次保護區現勘後，發現本署水質水量保護區查核系統電子地圖之保護區範圍與實際現況略有出入。爰藉由本次委辦計畫重新調查釐清保護區範圍及保護區電子地圖資料之正確性，並提出相關修正內容，惟考量全國113處保護區範圍廣大，本署前已於100及101年度分年度辦理部分保護區邊界檢討作業及全國113處保護區之範圍圖資更新，今(102)年度將選定28處保護區，持續辦理保護區邊界檢討及保護區範圍圖資及12處水質水量保護區圖冊別冊及其電子檔製作作業。

The main content of the project includes water quality and quantity protection area atlas production, 12 water quality and quantity protection area brochures and verifying 28 protection area boundary. The content listed as below: 1.28 protection area atlas and boundary verifying For verifying drainage channel of each water quality and quantity protection area, use newest digital map by ArcGIS software by overlaying various layers like DEM, drainage channel, etc. To achieve the goal, on-site inspecting should be carried out by inquiring and locating river intake of Taiwan Water Corporation. Due to geographical terrain change for years, the verifying protection area should be proposed to Water Resources Agency for administration management. The content of the project also includes water quality and quantity protection area atlas production and protection area brochures for introducing water quality and quantity protection area. 2.Water quality and quantity protection area atlas production Use digital layers like SPOT satellite maps, 5m resolution Digital elevation model(DEM), road network data for constructing state of the art information for water quality and quantity protection area. Water quality and quantity protection area atlas for usage, separates Northern, Central and Southern region to comform with Water Resources Agency standard. The standard of atlas contains A3 size of snow copper paper with scale between 1/10,000 ~ 1/200,000 for printing 30 volumes. 2.12 water quality and quantity protection area brochure production To produce water quality and quantity protection area brochures which includes brief introduction, administrative region, forest distribution, land distribution, and landmark around the protection area or so.
