除現有全網站(本署全球資訊服務網站、易淹水地區水患治理計畫、石門水庫及其集水區整治計畫專屬網站及永續公共工程專屬網站)擴充及維護工作外，因應組織改造調整網站架構及內容並配合曾文南化烏山頭水庫治理及穩定南部地區供水計畫建立宣導網頁。

In order to serve the users to access the network information effectively, Water Resources Agency (WRA) has been committed to enhancing the sophisticated global information and content of diversified information services of its global information portal website since when established in the early 1990s.In 2011, in line with the modifications to the Organization of the Executive Yuan, WRA sets up this project to plan to adjust the structure and content of the website in advance. It will also establish a new website of Tseng-Wen, Nanhua, Wushantou reservoir management and stable water supply projects in southern, hoping to make the site in an entirely new look. On the other hand, the XML and XSL are been well-used for data exchange and sharing to correspond with other website via web services. The goal is to integrate the resources of application systems to offer better services. The goals of the project include the expansion and adjust of the site to enrich the contents of the whole site, to maintain the normal operation of the existing site-wide systems to improve web site service quality. The project work is divided into: 1. Adjusting the structure and content of the website, including restructuring, with the revised text and pictures. 2. Establishing a new website of Tseng-Wen, Nanhua, Wushantou reservoir management and stable water supply projects in southern. 3. Enhancing the functions of the website. 4. Maintaining the global information portal, regulation of flood-prone areas website, Shimen Reservoir and its catchment area remediation plan website, sustainable public works website and revitalizing the economy to expand public construction investment plan advocacy and communication website. Upon completion of this project, the expected benefits are: 1. Complete the update of the global web site and the flood prone area flood management plan website and other proprietary website. 2. Complete the establishment of Tseng-Wen, Nanhua, Wushantou reservoir management and stable water supply projects in southern. 3. Enhancing the functions of the website. 3. Enhance the site’s search features, performance and friendliness. 4. Maintain the operation of site-wide system, database processing and improve the quality of web services.
