隘& #63932;溪原為東港溪上游，由發源於知本主山（2,368 公尺）附近的巴尤泡池（Bayu）歡喜山之& #63843;隘& #63932;溪，與發源於& #63843;大武山（3,092 公尺）之南隘& #63932;溪匯合而成，為高屏溪主要支& #63946;之一。 由於近年來，全球氣候變化日& #64023;顯著，造成台灣遭受天然災害之機率增加。尤其在98年8月莫拉克颱風侵台（八八水災）之後，其所挾帶之超大豪雨重創台灣中南部；造成高屏溪水系河道地形改變，為能有效管制開發行為、減緩天然災害造成之危害並積極作為以達成本局既定管理任務，有必要建置航拍技術產製正射影像圖、數值地形圖、及數值高程模型(DEM)等數值圖資，以利充分了解災後地形現況，以做為後續辦理災後河川治理規劃檢討工作及河川管理之需要。

Typhoon Morakot wrought catastrophic damage in Taiwan in August 2009. The most affected areas included the AiLiao River of Gaoping River. A data bank consists of geographic and hydrological information is crucial for post-Typhoon Morakot disaster mitigation and planning for water resources management. The proposed project collects digitized historical drawings and documents, implements airborne digital information including orthophoto images, digital topographic maps, and digitized elevation maps to construct a Centralized 3-D Internet Geographic Information System for the Water Resources Agency, Ministry of Economic Affairs. The AiLiao River are the designated photogrammetry areas. The final deliverable will include 5,061 hectares orthophoto images and DEM. The number of intended topographic illustrations reaches 152. And digital topographic maps covering 3,284 hectares of land. The number of intended topographic illustrations reaches 130. In the scope of the proposed work, the overall product will be categorized into 5 groups and 21 different items. They will be further classified and integrated into the Centralized 3-D Internet Geographic Information System aligning with their attributes. In addition to the services mentioned above, the team offers six other contributions beyond the contractual requirements: (1)Water depth survey in the water channels, (2)3D LiDAR digital images preserving the river crossing bridges, (3)Interactive 3D simulations, (4)The show together with DEM and DSM, (5)Compare the ago and post of Typhoon Morakot, (6)Drawing cross section chart. To demonstrate the power of virtual-reality products for future display. These are among the few selling points of the proposed project.
