本計畫期藉由各水庫之歷年業務執行成果之推廣，宣導水庫保育加值環境永續經營與發展之實質成效及展現業務效益，並助益本署水資源保育相關業務之推動，創造永續不息的水環境。

This project performance since one year ago, in which integrate the complete information for reservior watershaed resource conservation. In order to provide reservior watershaed various information of the spatial environment, this project planed and established a prototype of ‘reservoir conservation system’. The first year, we have already established reservior watershaed data of Norte and Chubu in taiwain that total of 13. This year, we continue to extend in the southern, eastern and outlying Islands of reservoir data, a total of 40. On purpose to emphasize the concept of reservoir conservation revelation, Google Earth has been used as the cored content of this website, it spatiality visual effect and interactive operations extremely changed the user experience from traditional website. In order to strengthen the portable intelligent of reservoir conservation, the project developed a PDA version of reservoir conservation website, which could let user get their information immediately and improve the electronic management and mobilize in reservoir information. For supporting to demonstrate the results with reservoir conservation that accomplished by WRA, this project conducted it with multiple media approaches. the electronic news regarding to the reservoir conservation which automatically deliver to people was also used in this project as an important approach to demonstrate the reservoir conservation effects because it’s free and easy for people to read. The animation has became widely used in multi-disciplinary, which includes movie, education, demonstration, visual communication and etc. this project made the animation with subject is reservoir conservation for demonstrating the result and promoting the concept of ‘water resource as treasure’ by the dynamic effect of animation. Meanwhile, for enhancing the efficiency of information systems usage, this project expanded the existed system, included ‘reservoir subjects querying system’, ‘reservoir management system – mobile version’, and ‘reservoir engineering management platform’, after the expansions, the system operation efficiency was enhanced via improving the system user interface. 經濟部水利署推動為期兩年的「水庫保育成效多元化建置推廣」計畫（98-99年），旨在回應民眾對水資源保育資訊日益增長的需求，並推廣水利署多年的保育成果與政策。 計畫核心包括建置「水庫保育展示網」，利用Google Earth提供空間化互動展示，並開發PDA版本以提升資訊隨身查詢便利性。同時，透過形象文宣、電子報及動畫等多媒體方式，加強水庫保育教育宣導。此外，計畫也擴充並強化了水利署既有的「水庫主題互動式查詢系統」、「水庫集水區行動版管理系統」及「水庫工程管理平台」等資訊系統，以提高業務效率及資訊能見度。
