為彙整本署「國土資訊系統」相關施政計畫與整體規劃成果，及配合行政院研考會於民國91年5月7日訂定政府出版品電子檔繳交作業：「圖書電子檔應繳交編印排版之原始檔案(WORD檔)，已轉製成可攜式文件檔(PDF檔)者亦應併同繳交」之規定，爰成立本計畫，針對本署暨所屬機關之數位典藏政府出版品，擬透過最新技術擴充加值服務功能，增進整體運作效能，提供更優質的資訊服務，落實成果出版品電子檔案共享理念。
