本計畫全程為二年，本年度為本計畫執行第一年，巳完成魚道類型、魚道水理試驗、魚道設計、魚道功能評估、台灣魚種、以及魚類泳能力等文獻資料。在現有魚道的觀測方面，以北勢溪坪林5號防砂之骨型魚道為研究案例，進行生態調查，以及河道與魚道之地形與水理量測，並探討水理是否滿足魚類上溯之需求。
