本研究（第二年度）旨在將生態觀念融入河川流量管理，以促進河川生態復育，達成人與生態系統共存。為應對近年來頻繁的極端水文事件，計畫利用水文、地文及魚類資料，結合臺灣生態水文指標（TEIS），建立水文-地形-生態交互關係。
具體工作包括收集分析流量站與魚類資料、劃分生態水文特性區、進行現地調查、訂定主要的臺灣生態水文指標，並比較傳統生態最小流量與河川流態管理方式的差異。研究成果旨在為國內水利相關人員提供參考應用，以期達到最佳化的水資源管理。
