本計畫主要為瞭解頭前溪水系水利建造物內容結構現況，採用非破壞檢測方式，檢查堤防(護岸)構造物之使用狀況與內部損壞狀態，至少包含結構體內部裂縫，含水狀況以及管路情形，以便未來整體規劃時設計利用。

1. Project Purpose Because of global warming, the extreme climate calamities in recent years were occurred constantly in the world. The torrential rain caused by the typhoon often brings severe flood hazard and induces failure of levee (revetment). Among them, scouring of levee-toe is most often. Meanwhile, because both of settlement and titling of levee (revetment) apron reduce the effect of flood energy dissipation, the filling of levee-body was often destroyed, levee-toe was easily scoured as well as levee-slope was broken. Therefore, this project is mainly to understand the current state which at least includes water-content condition and water-seepage piping situation of the hydraulic structures on Tou-Cian River system, adopts the way of non-destructive inspection to inspect the condition and inside damage state of levee(revetment) on Tou-CianRiver, for basis of the integrated planning and design in the future. 2. Levee (Revetment) Visual Inspection Results The work of visual inspection for levee (revetment) structures was conducted since May to August of 2018. Inspection result shows that there is totally 132 damaged places, however, damage for immediate improvement was not found. 3. Nondestructive-Inspection & Concrete Compression Strength Test Results The total levee length of non-destructive-inspection(NDI) adopting ground penetrating radar is 22,037.5 m. Among them, there is the levee of 663.5 m with slightly cavity signal, the levee of 17.5 m with intermediate cavity signal. However, there is no signal of serious cavity signal. There are totally 142 inspection points for using impact echo method, the result shows that there are 16 locations with penetrating cracks. Furthermore, there is 41 locations for levee-body concrete compression strength testing. The result shows that concrete compression strength is between 225 and 465 kgf/cm2. 4. River Levee Current Assessment Result &Improvement Scheme Upon referring to each inspection result and the existing basic information, the assessing sections of levee (revetment) are divided into 189 sets. After the assessment, 5 sets of levee range are listed as B-grade, 25 sets of levee range are listed as C-grade, and 159 sets of levee range are listed as D-grade. Furthermore, based on the damage types and the scales of the planned levee repair methods of the project, the estimated levee repair cost is about NT$ 5,697,000.
