為提供本局台南高雄海堤災害預測資訊，本計畫擬建置海堤作業化海岸防災資訊系統，展示海堤區域波潮演變與溢堤越波預測資訊。主要工作內容乃根據國際公認氣象組織所發布之海氣象條件，模擬臺灣沿海波潮變化，作業化產出台南高雄海堤區域的波潮資訊，同時應用國際常見海岸工程手冊，估算台南高雄海堤在颱風侵臺期間的最大溯升高度與平均越波量。為提高預測系統準確性，擬觀測颱風侵臺期間的堤前波潮演變及堤面溯升高度，用以校驗數值波潮模式與堤面溯升高度估算結果。計畫成果將透過視窗網頁作業化展示，於台南高雄海堤颱風侵臺期間海堤區域波潮資訊、堤面溯升高度以及越波量預測結果，作為本局未來規劃海岸防災治理之參考。
英文摘要
To provide the Sixth River Management Office, WRA the run-up and overtopping prediction information along the seawall in Tainan and Koahsiung, this project builds an operational coastal disaster prevention information system. This project operationally uses numerical models to predict the waves and tides and estimates nearly the highest run-up and the overtopping at 36 seawalls by using the formulas in the CEM for the future 48 hours. Waves, tides, the run-up, and the overtopping information is displayed on the operational website for the hazard mitigation and the planning of shore protection.
