本手冊依據民國92年12月3日經濟部經水字第09204614050號令「水利建造物檢查及安全評估辦法」第10 條之規定編製，以水庫安全及與供水安全有關聯者為對象，確保水庫處於安全狀態為重點，非將所有設施納入，且設施檢查項目及重點，是以功能與安全有相當關聯者始納入，與平時維持所有設施正常功能之一般保養與維護有所區別。因此，相關監測儀器與機電設備之詳細保養、操作與維護方法等事項未納入本手冊內，相關事項應參考原廠所提供之說明文件辦理。

The safety maintenance manual is compiled in accordance with the provisions of Article 10 of the Ministry of Economic Affairs Decree No. 09204614050 “Inspection and Safety Evaluation Measures of Water Conservation Structures” dated December 3, 1992. The manual is focused on the safety of reservoir and water supply. Therefore, not all facilities are included in the manual. The inspection items and key points are only listed for those facilities related to the operation and safety of the reservoir. This feature distinguishes the safety maintenance manual from the general-purpose maintenance manual, which is aimed to maintain the normal operation of all facilities. The detailed maintenance and operation methods of the monitoring instruments and electromechanical equipment are not included in this manual. Thus, the related matters should be handled with reference to the documentation provided by the original manufacturer.
