本署為加強推動水岸土地認養維護工作，前已訂頒「經濟部水利署轄管綠美化水岸土地維護管理要點」及「經濟部水利署轄管綠美化水岸土地認養維護工作考核及獎勵要點」，並依實際推動認養情形逐步檢討相關要點與機制，以鼓勵更多單位或團體參與認養維護綠美化水岸土地工作，使營造後綠美化場地持續保有優質環境，累積認養水岸土地面積已逾200公頃。 考量認養係由單位或團體以無償方式協助政府辦理維護工作，亟需媒合民間企業資源挹注，及為使認養單位之義工具專業維護技能與知識，需辦理認養義工教育訓練工作；並為因應近年環境營造增加之場地，使完工後可由認養單位接續後續維護工作，爰委託專業廠商規劃未來認養潛力場處、辦理認養義工教育訓練及推動媒合企業認養水岸土地等工作，以持續擴增認養面積及提高民眾使用水岸土地利用率。

The project managed on promoting and maintenance of waterfront area which included evaluating performance, commending outstanding organizations, plans and suggestions for adopted and potential waterfront areas adoption and holding volunteer training program and holding a matching conference as well as the possibility of trading forest carbon to promote the adoption. The project also managed on assisting assessment of adopted waterfront areas and awarded adopted areas maintenance groups/ enterprises with excellent performance. 7 adopt maintenance groups/enterprises were awarded excellent performance. The award ceremony was merged with “Series of activities of Water Resource Festival and Award Ceremony” and 13 news in media exposure which was helpful to promote the waterfront adoption plan. The project had aimed adopted and potential waterfront areas and invited experts and scholars in the fields of sightseeing, landscape, marketing, law, etc. to perambulate on-site. Suggestions for landscape improvement, land use, and tourism industry combination are given to each site. In the adopted waterfront areas, the suggestion was helpful to Nanqingshuigou River Ching-Shiou Brige and Taiwan Hibiscus Trail to promote the ecology and environment, by adding to plant the nectariferous plants and adjusted the sorts of plant. In the potential waterfront areas, the Jiou-Lung waterfront area and the Pa-Chang River waterfront area were planned to be adopted in 2020 after on-site perambulation. Also, in the enterprises promotion, the project hold a waterfront areas adoption matching conference, more than 30 enterprises attended, and 10 enterprises showed their will to sponsor and contacted river management offices and adopt maintenance groups for following procedures through the matching conference. The project had achieved a great result and would continue to promote waterfront adoption and maintenance plan in the future.
