針對桃園海岸一般海堤區域環境情勢調查跨年106-107年辦理總經費400萬

The project is located in the coastal area of Taoyuan City. The coastline is about 40 kilometers. We developed coastal environment maintenance and improvement through coastal situation investigation, biological and environmental quality integration analysis. To achieve the goal of a friendly seawall environment. We wished targeting a friendly seawall environment.Taoyuan coast is erosion trend in recent years. The area near the seawall includes the industrial areas and fish ponds. The beach or intertidal zone is the sand bank. There are important ecological habitats such as algae reefs, Xuweigang wetlands and mangroves. This project selected at the mouth of the Lao-Jie River, Beigang, Baiyu, Datan, Xinwu River, Guanxin algal reef, etc. 6, between the upper intertidal waters and intertidal ecology investigation. According to the survey results, the water quality is Class B, and the standard value of heavy metal regulations dost not exceeded. According to the results of the research, we have recorded 26 species of fish, 15 species of benthic organisms, 24 species of zooplankton, 136 species of phytoplankton, 30 species of birds, and 77 species of plants . It contains one rare-and-valuable species,Sternula albifrons, and one other-conservation- deserving-wildlife species,Lanius cristatus. As for the plant , we have found two species of plants listed in the Red List of Taiwanese Vascular Plants, one is endangered Bolboschoenus planiculmis.,and the other is near-threatened Kandelia candel. In terms of aquatic ecology, the Xinwu Stream sampling area owns diverse habitats, including streams, sand banks, intertidal zones, algae reefs and mangroves, so the species richness is high, while the other sampling areas lack such habitats . Accordingly ,there are fewer species than the Xinwu Stream area. In the bird and plant ecology section, the number of species in the Laojie Stream sampling area is the highest, but the Beigang area is the lowest. The main cause of such results is due to Laojie Stream area including streams, intertidal zones, grassland, mangrove thickets, windbreaks and fishing pool, especially diverse waterbirds above all. In terms of indicator species, in the Laojie Stream sampling area, the Baiyu area and the Taitan area are Scopimera bitympana ,whereas the Xinwu Stream sampling area is Austruca lacteal and the Guanxin algal reef is the Eriphia smithi . In terms of CW-IBI in intertidal zone, the environmental quality of the Laojie Stream area, Baiyu area, Xinwu Stream area and Guanxin algal reef is at “fair” level. But the Taitan area is rated "Poor". Combined hydrological habitat model and seawall ecological assessment results, the habitat quality of the Laojie Stream area, Baiyu area, Taitan area, Xinwuxi area and Guanxin algal reef are evaluated as medium . The future strategy should be oriented towards “Maintenance present situation”. The future strategy of Beigang area should be oriented towards “improving the sea bank more ecological and friendly”. The issues of Taoyuan Coast include coastal erosion, A large number of marine debris destruction of coastal landscape, Endemic species protection. In addition, mangroves provide waterfowl and benthic habitats, but they may also hinder river drainage. Therefore, it is recommended that the government check and ban it from time to time. The large amount of rubbish in the intertidal zone should also be cleaned up.
