石岡壩位於台中市石岡區，係大甲溪下游重要水利設施，主要功能在於調節上游德基、青山、谷關、天輪、馬鞍各電廠發電尾水與攔河蓄水，供應大台中地區及彰化縣部份地區之公共給水、工業用水、農業灌溉用水、台中港船舶用水及中部科學園區工業用水。 石岡壩閘門機電設備及設施維護保養計畫包括：溢洪道及排砂道之鋼索捲揚式弧形閘門、南幹渠進水口梯桿式調節閘門、南幹渠進水口梯桿式緊急閘門、南幹渠第一分水工閘門、埤頭山圳控制閘閥、林厝圍堤2座螺桿式閘門、崁腳溝溪1座梯桿式閘門及堤內抽水站、移動式抽水機、壩區路燈景觀燈維護…等，因機電閘門設施繁雜，而且須確保機電設施正常運作以不間斷的提供大台中地區民生用水及農工業用水，爰提本「107年度石岡壩閘門機電-閘門機電設施維護保養」委託服務計畫書。

The Shihkang Dam located in Shihkang District of the Taichung City, under the administration of the Central Water Resources Office of the Water Resources Agency of Ministry of Economic Affairs, mainly regulates tail water from power plants, such as Te-Chi, Ching-Shan, Ku-Kuan,Tien-Lun, Ma-An, along Dajia River upstream of the dam site, and also is an important water conservancy facility of the down stream of Dajia River to provide water for domestic, industrial and agricultural use within the Taichung metropolitan area and partial area of Chunghua county, including Taichung Harbor and Central Taiwan Science Park. Since the Shihkang Dam carries great responsibility for water regulation, water quality and water supply, it is the top mission to maintain normal operational function of every type of gate and its accessory device, and electromechanical control devices, which is related to the entire water supply system. The hydraulic electromechanical devices and control system facilities of Shihkang Dam include radial gates of spillway and sand escape, grab rod gates of water intake of south main channel, hydraulic gates of the first water split works of south main channel, control gate valves of Bi-Tou-Shan dike, and pumping stations inside the submergence area, etc. Since the complication of the electromechanical gates, it is the greatest benefit to take advantage of the technical experiences of specialized manufacturers with their resources and professional personnel for maintaining the function of each facility and preventing every possible contingency.
