本計畫擬蒐集並整合各縣市政府與本署監測資料，統合建置於本署全國溫泉資源基本資料庫系統，另透過各區溫泉可使用量及相關監測資料，提供研擬開發及管制措施之參考，以確保溫泉資源得以永續利用。

There are a total of 25 hot spring areas in Taiwan with higher commercial use. Some hot spring areas -- Beitou, Wulai, Jiaoxi, Suao, Guanziling, Sichongxi, Kukuan, Zhiben, Ruisui and Baolai were equipped with monitoring wells (41) and data logger and water level and water temperature have been monitored regularly. The data has presented and analyzed for the purpose of water management in this report. There are 7 wells with water levels lower than average value which label with yellow symbol in 2017 third quarter. Only one well which water level lower is lower than minimal value labeled with red symbol. Compared water levels in the 2017 third quarter with the same quarter of 2016, tow area are decreasing, Ruisui and Kukuan. The water temperatures in 2017 third quarter compared with 2016 third quarter, only one are is decreasing, Ruisui. The vertical temperature data show that 2 wells are lower than minimal value and 9 wells lower than average value. The water level and temperature are impacted by rainfall recharge and discharge of human withdraw that change the flow path of groundwater. The authority should continually perform the monitoring works and regular the water rights for the sustained usage of hot spring water.

本計畫旨在監測台灣溫泉資源，透過設置監測井網，定期收集水位、水溫及水質數據，以掌握溫泉開發現況並提供水權核發參考。計畫涵蓋礁溪、北投、四重溪等十處溫泉區共41口觀測井。 106年度第三季監測結果顯示，部分溫泉區水位及水溫呈現下降趨勢，其中7口井水位低於歷年平均值（黃色警示），1口井低於最小值（紅色警示）。垂直井溫監測亦有2口井低於最小值（紅色警示），9口井低於平均值（黃色警示）。 水位水溫變化可能與降雨量及人為抽水有關，建議持續追蹤並比對相關數據，以釐清下降原因。未來計畫將逐步擴大監測範圍至所有溫泉區，並加入抽水量監測，以確保溫泉資源的永續利用。
