本年度以臺南市為計畫區，將現行淹水潛勢模擬之數值模式，進行地文資料之強化更新與各項參數之細緻檢校，以供未來即時淹水模擬演算技術研發與下階段淹水潛勢圖繪製之所需。

Abstract From 2014 to 2016, Water Resources Planning Institute, Water Resources Agency, Ministry of Economic Affairs has established the whole Taiwan inundation numerical model Based on SOBEK mode year by year. "Second Upgrading Potential Inundation Maps " program for whole Taiwan area has been completed in the end of 2016. However, the established two-dimensional inundation model had been gradually different from the present situation by the completion of the hydraulic engineering project. To maintain the correctness of the basic data of the model, and ensure the reliability of the model calculation results. The field Investigation and update the model physiographic information data should arrange regular executed. This plan will be carry on the update and the modification in accordance with the contents of the " Potential Inundation Maps of Tainan County (Second Upgrading)" (2015). Let Water Resources Planning Institute to facilitate follow-up research and development of the forecast simulation with real-time two - dimensional inundation in Taiwan, another value-added application (such as inundation rainfall alert values), also can be prepared for the next stage Potential Inundation Maps. The program is conducted in three phases. The first phase: supplementary information to the survey and update, including the field Investigation and update of physiographic information, the catchment range delineated and the physiographic data review and update. The second stage: numerical model refinement and update, including river scale 2-Dimension inundation numerical model update, establishing city scale 2-D inundation numerical model and HEC-HMS model of Tainan City. The third stage: value-added application research, including study of rainfall alert value and 3-Dimension inundation depth demonstration.
