環境教育法於99年6月5日制定完成，自100年6月5日起實施，依據環境教育法第19條規定，本署應於機關內部推展環境教育。100年推動本署環境教育之初，以實體講授「環境教育課程」之方式，強化機關整體人力對水環境教育之認識與重視；而在101、102及103年本署則持續推動水資源環境教育及環境教育平台與環教設施整合計畫，依據人力之專長規劃符合其需求之課程類型，同時依據環境教育法第19條納入演講、討論、網路學習、體驗、實驗（習）、戶外學習、參訪、影片觀賞、實作及其他活動等多元課程之規劃，俾利落實環境理念於施政工作中。 有鑒於行政院組織改造後，水利署將併入環境資源部，整體行政體系之人員更應提升對環境、生態之基礎認識，故今年度仍持續辦理水資源環境教育之推動，且為協助建立環境教育專業制度及環境教育設施整合，擬持續辦理評估本署及所屬機關之相關人力與資源等，進行環境教育人員、機構及設施場所認證等相關諮詢及協助。另本署近年來在環境教育推動上略有收穫，為使本署可更進一步落實環境教育之目標，將彙整本署暨所屬機關環境教育相關資源，進行整合性水資源環境教育推動，並研擬本署中、長程環境教育工作計畫。

The project is based on I.P.A.D Environmental Education Planning System. There are five major job items in this project. Achievement is as described below. 1. Completion of evaluating 2014 project achievement, investigating Water Resources Agency, Ministry of Economic Affairs and subordinate agencies about curricular themes for environmental education, and amending 2015 project execution and developing a series of 10 sessions Environmental Education Curriculum about water resources. 2. Completion of developing 2015 Environmental Education Plan、executing 10 sessions Environmental Education Curriculum about water resources, including of 4 indoor courses and 5 outdoor courses, and the amount of participants are 503、manufacturing epaper of Environmental Education, and supplying assistance to Water Resources Agency, Ministry of Economic Affairs to declare the 2015 accomplishment of Environmental Education. 3. Elaboration of curricular themes and plans in Environmental Education with Water Resources Agency, Ministry of Economic Affairs. 4. Integration of Environmental Education recourses with Water Resources Agency, Ministry of Economic Affairs and subordinate agencies. There are 3 certificated Environmental Education Facilities, which are Shimen Reservoir, Zengwen reservoir, and Taipei Water Management Office, WRA. Water Resources Planning Institute, Water Resources Agency, Ministry of Economic Affairs is applying for Environmental Education Organization certification. There are 28 members of Water Resources Agency, Ministry of Economic Affairs and subordinate agencies certified by Environmental Protection Administration as Environmental Educator. The project has developed a series of teaching materials for Environmental Education, which contains of 19 teaching modules, 88 sets of teaching materials, and 21 groups for Environmental Education platform. Water Resources Agency, Ministry of Economic Affairs and Southern Region Water Resources Office are awarded Third National Environmental Education Award. 5. Elaboration of “Long-term Environmental Education plan for water resource in new century” with Water Resources Agency, Ministry of Economic Affairs.
