本署於102年度辦理之委辦計畫，分為水資源綜合業務、水權與地層下陷防治、水資源保育、水利政策與法規、水利產業與經濟、水源開發及利用、河川海岸與區域排水、資訊與水文觀測、水利工程與災害防治等九大類，各項委辦計畫成果豐碩，擬編纂委辦計畫成果摘要彙編並辦理成果發表會，以對外發表本署102年度執行各項委辦計畫之相關成果，除展現本署102年度委辦計畫成果外，並期透過各與會專家、學者之討論與建議，協助本署掌握當前之水資源政策發展趨勢，並可做為未來施政規劃方向之參考。

The purpose of this project is to integrate and present to the public accomplishments of projects commissioned by the Water Resources Agency (WRA) in 2013. A total of 291 projects are included in the "2013 Water Resources Agency Commissioned Projects Accomplishment Summaries (including commissioned projects registered in the commissioned project management system of the agency in and before 2013 with contracts ending before December 31, 2013, or commissioned projects before 2013 not recorded in compilation over the years due to special reasons but are completed in 2013), with the investment of about one billion and fifty million dollars and 3,428 staff. Accomplishment summaries will be compiled into books and distributed to related agencies for collection. The "2013 Water Resources Agency Commissioned Projects Accomplishment Presentation" was held in Feng Chia University, Taichung, in 10 and 11 June, 2014. Forty papers from fourteen topics were selected for presentation ranging from "Coastal Protection," "Disaster Prevention Research," "Hydrological Observation" and "Climate Change Adaptation" and so one. Fifty poster presentations were also demonstrated at the same time. In addition, the "Flood Control Plans for Flood-prone Areas" and "Drainage Areas Comprehensive Management Plan" were presented. The two-day presentation attracted more than 760 visitors. The fruitful project results obtained unanimously recognition from visitors of the presentation. With the two major tasks of this project, units within the Agency might re-confirm the contents of the results to improve the accuracy and quality of water conservancy knowledge. Through the presentation of project results, important water conservancy achievements may be shared with the outside world; thus rapidly spreading water conservancy knowledge, assisting national water development trend, effectively using water resources, and promoting the work and professional studies of disaster prevention system. For WRA, through the consistent review process, the quality of project results may be enhanced and the innovative thinking of knowledge management of WRA can be improved. Project knowledge can then be transformed into organizational knowledge, and thus the overall operational efficiency of the Water Resources Agency and competitiveness can be boosted.
