Offshore breakwaters preliminary benefit assessment, during 1975 ~ 2010, the southern Linbian river outer 1 ~ 18 presents obvious erosion phenomenon between offshore breakwaters, as the maximum of up to 120 meters, almost back to Wunfong seawall, its reason is related to subsidence. Between outer 19 offshore breakwaters and Huluwei drainage exit also presents slightly erosion. Between Sialiao and Dajhuang seawalls, formed a sand tongue or attached bar in the offshore breakwaters, but no offshore breakwaters protection are eroded. Fanzihlun seawalls, the shoreline before offshore breakwaters built almost back to present location near, shoreline after construction is no longer erosion. During 2010 ~ 2014, by early 2011 Linbian river desilting and beach nourishment at Wunfong coast, inner 1 ~ 10 offshore breakwaters, already reached to sand-fixation effect.
Improve preliminary developed evaluation strategy, [Proposal I] remove 1~3 lining offshore breakwaters, for near south of Linbian river has slightly effects on the sediment area, but before a few inlayer offshore breakwaters sand will transfer to the south. [Proposal II] desilt between 1 ~ 4 outer offshore breakwaters to 1 ~ 3 inner offshore breakwaters and Wunfong seawall, simulations show that a year later, because the Linbian river estuary sediment injecting section is obvious, but the southern are erosion and sedimentation exchanged now, seems to be not affected by Linbian river sediment processes of the influence of the north coast. [Proposal III] the sand desilting of the Proposal II fill the between 7 ~ 10 inner offshore breakwaters and Wunfong seawalls, simulations show that a year later, because Linbian river estuary sediment injecting section is obvious, a comparisons of beach nourishment and before, the sedimentation phenomenon. And at x = 6600 m near showed a larger erosion, just back to non-beach nourishment, which is back to the front of the seawall.
