環境教育法於99年6月5日制定完成，自100年6月5日起實施，依據環境教育法第19條規定，本署應於機關內部推展環境教育。第一年推動本署環境教育之初(100年)，以實體講授「環境教育課程」之方式，強化機關整體人力對水環境教育之認識與重視；而在101年本署則辦理「推動水資源環境教育及環境教育平台整合計畫」，依據人力之專長規劃符合其需求之課程類型，同時依據環境教育法第19條納入演講、討論、網路學習、體驗、實驗（習）、戶外學習、參訪、影片觀賞、實作及其他活動等多元課程之規劃，俾利落實環境理念於施政工作中。 另有鑒於行政院組織改造後，水利署將併入環境資源部，整體行政體系之人員更應提升對環境、生態之基礎認識，故今年度仍持續辦理水資源環境教育之推動，且為協助建立環境教育專業制度及環境教育設施整合，本署擬評估本署及各所屬機關之相關人力與資源等，進行認證環境教育人員、機構及設施場所之可行性，以及規劃整合本署環教設施平台架構與推動策略。

According to《Environmental Education Act》,Water Resources Agency, Ministry of Economic Affairs has executed “The project of 102 years to promote environmental education for water resources and environmental education facilities integration” of Water Resources Agency, assessing the implementation program of environmental education 2013, executing “The environmental education plan 2013”, planning “The environmental education plan 2014” for Water Resources Agency and evaluating the possibility to be certified as Environmental Education Facilities and Venues、agencies or personnel for Water Resources Agency and the subordinate agencies. The architecture and processes of this project was based on environmental education planning principles system, and implemented from the scoping, planning till executing. The performance indicators as following: 1.Completing to review the effect of environmental education implement in 2012 and to investigate the Expect in environmental education courses and themes of WRA colleagues；2.Completing to analysis the environmental education material and digital platform which has been established, and to organize 10 echelon environmental education studies courses, which serviced 549 person indeed, and also earned great affirmation form WRA colleagues., and completing to declare the implementation results within the time limit.；3. Completing to plan and provides “The environmental education plan 2014”, the environmental education curriculum and themes for Water Resources Agency, which put “Conducive to water”, “Water Treatment”, “Water retention”, “Close to water” as the planning content and completing to declare the implementation results within the time limit.；4. Completing to analysis the environmental education personnel, curriculum, stronghold and the Platform Resources of Water Resources Agency and the subordinate agencies. According the Effect of this project, The Suggestion for Subsequent is to keep Integrating the water environmental education resources, such as the digital environmental education platform, human resources, courses eta, to expand the development the promotion of water resources within environmental education.
