本局依據行政院環境保護署所訂定相關監測規定及項目進行本特定區之水質監測，長期而持續之監測對於本特定區相關管理作業甚為重要，本計畫除執行本特定區內主支流河段河川水水質監測外，亦將所得之分析結果綜合研判本特定區污染來源及水質異常原因並探討可能影響層面，據此以採取適切之防治措施。此外，本計畫之水質監測成果按月提送行政院環境保護署參考及提供相關學術單位研究所需。

In order to monitor and preserve the watershed in the water supply protected watershed, the Taipei Water Management Office (Water Resource Agency, Ministry of Economic Affairs) promote a project termed “Water Quality Monitoring for Taipei Water Supply Protected Watershed”. This project included the water quality monitoring works of the rivers, effluents, the source of hot spring in Wulai, and the pollution emergencies occurred in the protected watershed. Besides the comparing with national effluent standards, surface water bodies standards and most previous monitoring data, the suitable suggestion will also be supported to the Taipei Water Management Office for further treatment.
