In this program, after collecting the data about Agodian Reservoir and Agodian River, site investment, section piles seting, horizontal and altitude measure about the control point and section piles, there was the other measurement about the reservoir topography seperatly before and after the operation of sediment prevention by Agodian reservoir-emptying (6/1-9/10), and then measureing the channel profile of Agodian River, to get the data about reservoir watersheds topography and downstream channel profile information of Agodian River before and after the operation of sediment prevention by reservoir-emptying, so that we can know the changes about reservoir storage and topography. The related data can also be the reference to future evaluation about this operation and then achieve the target about cleaning, emptying and long-term living Agodian Reservoir.
I. Range and Content of the program
Draft 1 is about the main range of this program, main cotent includes:
1. Measuring the topography of Agodian Reservoir watersheds seperatly once before and after the operation of sediment prevention reservoir-emptying (6/1-9/10).
2. Measuring the horizontal profile of total 59 locations and 17.9 km from downflow pipe to the outlet of Agodian Reservoir. Following the instruction, this will be combined with the 2nd topography measurement aobut reservoir area (after the operation of sediment prevention by reservoir-emptying).
This measure program includes Agodian Reservoir and Agodian River and both adopts different altitude operation systems, below is the information and connection about these two system:
(1) Here adadopted TWVD2001 level system which announced by Ministry of the Interior for Agodian River profile altitude, and Agodian Reservoir level systum for Agodian Reservoir. The level base point of Agodian Reservoir was BM01 which located next to the wall of guardhouse of Agodian Reservoir management center and it’s level was 42.124m.
(2) Because of the damage on the original reservoir altitude base point BM03, we re-set BM01 as the base point and measure the reservoir system level as 42.124m according to the original section piles. Comparing the altitude 42.540m of BM01 which was measured by the level system of TWVD2001 in year 100, the altitude difference between these two systems is 0.416m.
II. Measurement about the topography of Agodian Reservoir
Due to the operation of sediment prevention by reservoir-emptying in flood period after finishing Agodian Reservoir development project, in order to know about the effect of sediment prevention by reservoir-emptying, it’s necessary to measure the topography of reservoir watersheds, calculate the reservoir volumn and change between erosioin and deposit. Follow this target, we plan to have a measurement separately before and after the operation of sediment prevention by reservoir-emptying (6/1-9/10), which means before the end of May and after Sept. 10th. The 1st topography measureing would be finished before the end of May, the 2nd topography measureing would be run after the operation of sediment prevention by reservoir-emptying dated Sept. 10th, and the fieldwork measuring would be finished in the end of Sept.
The measuring range is from Agodian Reservoir bottom to the height 40m by scale 1/2000, total is about 367 hectares. The topography measure result of these two times have been displayed as draft 2 and draft 3. The comparison between erosion and deposit of the topography has been displayed as draft 4 and draft 5. The calculation and curve about level height-area-volum of the reservoir water for these times have been displayed as draft 1 and draft 6. Below is the detail about water capacity while in the water level marked as 37m:
1.The storage capacity is 16,992,860 m3 while in water full level 100/05, comparing with it in level 94/08, the capacity was 1,377,920 m3 less and the reducing rate was 7.5%. Comparing with it in level 97/12, the capacity was 701,080 m3less and the reducing rate was 3.8%. Comparing with it in level 99/06, the capacity was 465,630 m3 less and the reducing rate was 2.5%. Comparing with it in level 99/10, the capacity was 119,910 m3 more and the increasing rate was 0.7%. The square measure of the water storage was closed to 99/10 of the previous period.
2.The storage capacity is 17,220,820 m3 while in water full level 100/09, comparing with it in level 94/08, the capacity was 1,149,960 m3 less and the reducing rate was 6.3%. Comparing with it in level 97/12, the capacity was 4,731,200 m3 less and the reducing rate was 2.6%. Comparing with it in level 99/06, the capacity was 237,670 m3 less and the reducing rate was 1.3%. Comparing with it in level 99/10, the capacity was 347,870 m3 more and the increasing rate was 1.9%. Comparing with it in level 100/05, the capacity was 227,960 m3 more and the increasing rate was 1.2%. The square measure of the water storage was almost the same as 100/05 in the previous period.
III. Measuring result about Agodian River profile.
1. Comparing with the measuring data of Agodian River profile in Sept of year 2010, taking the river distance, profile width, average river square measure and average river bed height to calculate the depth, square measure and volume of the river deposit, the comparision result is as table 2. The analysis about deposit depth of each river sections of Agodian River in year 2008, 2010 and 2011 is as table 3. The deposit curve of each year is as the draft 7.
2. According to the above, there is mainly deposit in downstream section from Ageodian River outlet to Wen-Ren bridge (profile 01-08), the average deposit depth is 0.035m. From the middle to upper section of the river which is from Wen-Ren bridge to High Speed Rail bridge (profile 08-42), there is mainly in flush and the average depth is from 0.053 to 0.111m. There is also flush in the uppest section of the river which is from High Speed Rail bridge to reservoir downflow pipe (profile 42-59), the average flush height is 0.039m. Total flush dust of the whole river is about 56,522 m3.
