本研究(第二年度)旨在驗證並修正第一年度建立的河堤淘空檢測模式與檢查表。透過對青草崙、善化、寮?、山上等四個模式驗證段河堤進行現地探勘、UAV遙感探測及透地雷達非破壞性檢測，蒐集河堤外徵資料與淘空情況。
研究證實透地雷達能有效檢測混凝土坡面工河堤淘空，誤差僅6-10公分，並將淘空程度分為五級。利用多變量分析建立三種河堤部位(平面版、傾斜版1、傾斜版2)的淘空檢測模式，準確率約達七成，並據此將檢查表簡化為三種型式。研究成果透過教育訓練推廣給水利相關人員。建議未來可利用UAV快速蒐集資料，並將此研究方法推廣至其他地區或型式的河堤。
