Lung-En Weir is the important source for Hsin-Chu Area. Some parts of weir were damaged by Aere Typhoon in 2004 and repaired in 2006. However, the weir constructions had different design criterion between the past and repaired constructions, and the piers of railroad, high speed railroad, express road are going to be constructed near the weir. They will induce the complex hydraulic condition in the weir vicinity that increase the risk of damage once again. So WRANB executes “ The Strengthen Engineering of Lung-En Weir Project ”for steady water supply.
This report is As-Build Report about “The Strengthen Engineering of Lung-En Weir Project ”, including major construction items and quantity, construction layout, progress of the construction process. Finally, we also describe for the quality control , environmental protection and industrial safety during construction.
