本計劃在台北縣沿岸海域執行六個測站(挖子尾海岸、油車口海岸、芝蘭海岸、磺溪出海口海岸、國聖橋海岸與鶯歌石海岸)調查中,潮間帶共發現節肢動物門22科48種;軟體動物門23科68種。有關珊瑚礁生態方面,除了芝蘭與鶯歌石近海以硬底質岩礁為主外,其餘4測站以沙岸地形為主。芝蘭海底在10米水深處有軟珊瑚分佈(18%)並無石珊瑚覆蓋。鶯歌石則有少數石珊瑚分佈,但覆蓋率極低只有2.6%(10米)到3.6%(5米)之間。
海域生態浮游植物部份,在12個(林口電廠海岸、挖子尾海岸、油車口海岸、芝蘭海岸、富貴角海岸、磺溪出海口海岸、國聖橋海岸、基隆嶼海域、員山子分洪道出海口海岸、鼻頭角海岸、卯澳灣海岸與鶯歌石海岸)調查點中,共發現矽藻門119種(含變種及變型)、甲藻門55種、金藻門 1種及藍綠藻門1種共176種藻類。矽藻含量佔所有浮游植物的80%,以角毛藻科的擬彎角毛藻(Chaetoceros pseudocurvisetus Margin)佔56% 最優勢。甲藻含量佔所有浮游植物的20%。
海域生態浮游動物部份,12個調查點所採獲的浮游動物包括環節動物門 (Annelida)、節肢動物門 (Arthropoda)、毛顎動物門 (Chaetognatha)、腔腸動物門 (Coelenterata)、棘皮動物門 (Echinodermata)、軟體動物門 (Mollusca)、甲藻門 (Pyrrophyta)及尾索動物門 (Urochordata) 共計有8門9綱(亞綱,類)的浮游動物以及仔稚魚、其它幼生與魚卵。種類組成方面,哲水蚤(Calanoida)佔63.27% 為最優勢。另外以岐口水蚤目(Poecilostomatoida)占24.45%為第二優勢,再來以有尾類占2.73%為第三優勢大類。
底棲生物生態調查測站中,有4個調查點為沙泥底質,因此除了潛水調查之外,並另外使用矩形底棲生物採樣器進行底棲生物之調查,所採獲的底棲動物有節肢動物門1科1種、軟體動物門 7科7種以及海綿動物門1科1種,生物種類及數量均不高。其中以對蝦科的鷹爪蝦數量較多。
台灣北部海域調查測點現場水質調查,鹽度分佈介於31.2到34.5(psu)之間。其中S1(林口電廠)及S2(挖子尾)之鹽度較低,推測是海域受到內水、淡水河注入淡水稀釋之影響。
水溫之分佈主要受到調查季節之影響,第一次調查(夏季8月)水表溫度介於26到28度之間,第二次秋季10月及11月)水表溫度介於16到23度之間,第三次(春季3月)水表溫度介於17到21度之間,因此在春季時北海岸海水表面溫度較低。北部海域之酸鹼PH值(介於7.9~8.2)及溶氧(5.8~9.4 mg/L)之三次調查資料均都符合環保署甲類海域之水質標準。一般在未遭受嚴重污染的近岸海域,表層海水中所含的營養鹽濃度範圍介於(磷酸鹽0-0.5 μM、矽酸鹽0-15 μM、亞硝酸鹽0-3 μM、硝酸鹽0-10 μM),而調查海域水中各項營養鹽濃度皆在上述濃度範圍內,顯示這些海域並未遭受陸源營養鹽如氮、磷等元素的污染。
英文摘要
The project was undertaken at 6 investigation stations along the coastal areas in Taipei County, i.e., coasts of Waziwei, Youjukou, Zhilan, Huangsi estuary, Guosheng-Bridge and Yingge-Rock, where 22 families with 48 species of Arthropoda and 23 families with 68 species of Mollusca were found in tidal flats. As regards the ecological aspect of coral reef, the majority of the coastal topography was sandy beaches with the exception of the coasts in Zhilan and Yingge-Rock that were primarily with hard coral. The soft coral cover rate was 18% at 10 meters below sea level in the seabed of Zhilan without hard coral cover. In Yingge Rock area, little hard coral cover was found, but the cover rate was quite low, ranging from 2.6% (10 meters) and 3.6% (5 meters).
As to the aspect of phytoplankton ecology in coastal waters, in the 12 investigation sitesi.e.,coasts of Linkou Power Plant coast, Waziwei coast, Youjukou coast, Zhilan coast, Fugueijiao coast, Huangsi estuary coast, Guosheng-Bridge coast, Keelung-Island waters, Yuanshanzih flood diversion tunnel coast, Bitoujiao coast, Maoaw-Bay coast and Yingge-Rock coast), 176 species of algae were found, including 119 species of Bacillariophyt (both the variant and transformed), 55 species of Pyrrophyta, 1 species of Chrysophyta and 1 species of Cyanophyta. The quantity of Bacillariophyceae accounted for 80% of the total phytoplankton, and Chaetoceros pseudocurvisetus accounting for 56% predominated over the others. Besides, the quantity of Dinoflagellates accounted for 20% of all phytoplankton.
With regard to zooplankton ecology in costal waters, collected zooplanktons from the 12 investigation stations included Annelida, Arthropoda, Chaetognatha, Coelenterata, Echinodermata, Mollusea, Pyrrophyta, and Urochordata. In total, there were 8 phyla with 9 classes of zooplanktons, fish larvae, other species larvae and fish eggs. As for species composition, Calanoida accounted for 63.27% of zooplankton species which predominated over the others, Poecilostomatoida accounting for 24.45%, and Appendicularia accounting for 2.73%.
Four of the investigation stations on ecology of benthic organisms were with sandy or muddy sediments. Therefore, in addition to scuba diving survey, the sampling of benthic organisms was also conducted with Naturalist's anchor dredge. Few species and small quantities of organisms were found, including 1 family 1 species of Arthropoda, 7 families 7 species of Mollusca, and 1 family 1 species of Spongia. The Trachysalamsvia spp. as one species of Penaeidae predominated the benthic organisms that were found.
The water quality survey of the coastal waters in northern Taiwan showed that the salinity ranged from 31.2 to 34.5 (psu). Among the investigation sites, the water in S1 (Linkuo Power Plant) and S2 (Wanziwei) were with lower salinity, which was postulated as resulting from the dilution effect of the discharge of internal waters and Tamshuei River.
Regarding the surface water temperature distribution, it varied according to seasons. The first investigation carried out in august August during the summer and the temperatures of the surface water ranged between 26 and 28 oC; The second investigation was conducted between October and November in autumn, and the temperatures were ranged from 16 to 23 0C ; the third investigation in March in the spring time found that the temperatures of the surface water ranged between 17 and 210C. The temperatures of surface water in the northern coast were, in general, lower in spring.
The data of the three investigations on northern coastal waters showed that the values of pH were between 7.9 and 8.2 and the quantities of dissolved oxygen (D.O.) ranged from 5.8 to 9.4 mg/L. Both the values of pH and D.O. met the Group A costal water quality standards designated by EPA (Environmental Protection Administration,1998).
The range of nutrient concentrations of surface water were as follows: phosphate 0-0.5 μM; silicate 0-15 μM; nitrite 0-3 μM and nitrate 0 - 10 μM in unpolluted waters. The nutrient concentrations the waters investigated were within the ranges shown above. This indicates that the waters under investigation were not polluted by nutrient concentrations from the land, such as nitrogen, phosphorus and the likes.
