本計畫藉由本段海岸資料蒐集、地形水深測量、水質及生態調查，繼以數值模式分析進行各種方案成效評估，在考量能同時兼顧生態及景觀的原則下，研擬新竹港南海岸侵蝕防治對策，作為推動港南海岸生態及景觀環境改善之依據，以期達到港南海岸優質環境資源永續發展之目標。本計畫綜合94及95年度的結果提出方案一(94年度)－離岸砂洲人工養灘、方案二(94年度)－離岸潛堤工法配合人工養灘、方案三(94年度)－離岸岬島工法配合人工養灘及方案四(95年度)－迂迴供沙人工養灘四項方案。
